Happy

There was a brain surgeon, a philosopher, and a janitor.
The brain surgeon and the philosopher were having an argument about happiness.
-
“When Serotonin flows through the brain, then you are happy” the brain surgeon said.
“No,” said the philosopher, “When you are happy, then Serotonin flows through the brain.”
“No,” said the brain surgeon, “It is the other way around!”
“No,” said the philosopher, “It is surely the opposite!”
-
Finally the janitor, over hearing the argument, piped in and said,
“No, when you are happy you dance with a mop like this.”
“And you are happy when you whistle a tune like this.”
-
But the brain surgeon and the philosopher dismissed the janitor’s words and went on arguing late, late in to the night.
