Sharing Peanuts

The way of God is like a young man who sold peanuts each day down in the town square.

But the young man tired of selling peanuts and wished to find the greater meaning of life.  And so he determined that he must discover it!  So the young man left his peanuts and everything and went up on a mountain to fast and pray for 14 days so to search for the meaning of life.
-
Day one, nothing, no greater meaning.  Day two, nothing.  Day three, the same, nothing.  Two whole weeks went by, and still nothing, and by this time the young man was almost starving to death, but still nothing, no greater meaning to be found.
-
Finally on the last hour of the 14th day the young man was suddenly whisked up to heaven.  And he saw many glorious things.  And he was filled with the great mysteries of the tremendous meaning of life.
-
But alas the young man who sold peanuts was told he must return from heaven back to earth.  “But I will surly die of starvation,” he said.  So he was told, “Drink 14 times from the mountain stream, and you will be magically restored and live.”

And so he did, and miraculously he lived and was restored to full health and strength!  Now the young man sells peanuts down in the town square.  And all come to buy a bag of peanuts, and test him if these things were really true.  And so he tells them of great mystery and meaning the only way he can, selling them peanuts.
