Pepsi

God is like Pepsi.

As a drink it is simply a can with a beverage inside.

As a brand it is but a logo tied with a special memory.

But poured out and gulped down it is neither of these alone.

It is taken wholly and all-together as one thing.

Simple, unmistakable, Pepsi.

Thus beholding God is like having a Pepsi.

You can have a Pepsi on the table before you,

But this is just a drink in a can.

And you can have thirst for a Pepsi,

But this is just a memory with a symbol.

But when the Pepsi is opened and poured out,

Then drink gives way to thirst, and thirst gives way to drink.

Then you are having a Pepsi.

Aah, refreshing!
