At least one earmark of a great story
Is that the instant we hear it
We very much want it to be true
We very much want it to be true
That its not just a fiction
But has the heart and soul of myth
Yet not just a myth
But a very touchstone of life
Of the realest and truest things we know
Now we have stories of Jesus from
And we have stories of Jesus about
Yet from just about where we hear them
Isn’t it trembling to tell
That aren’t they certainly true.
