Does the Bible trump human reason?
Or does human reason trump the Bible?
To which should we pay authority?
Show me a Bible and a textbook.
What language are they written in?
Well, each are written in many human languages.
Then give to the Bible what truth it speaks
And give to Reason what truth it speaks
Yet give to God any truth which may remain
Caught between their gaping pages.
