Counterfeit

As an atheist

I show up wearing Christian garb

And suddenly even Richard Dawkins seems tolerable.

Lesson:

Don’t think that loving the same stories and symbols as the fundys

Will get you any points with them

If you don’t lock step with their God too.

Proving once again

Their God

Is more important than any shared appreciation of the divine

i.e.  is a false God.

Alas, only a God made by humans can be counterfeited

Whereas stories and symbols divine
Are always free for the sharing.
